Creative Stitching
Learn how to use your sewing machine and different presser feet to create embellishments. We will use specialty thread, yard, ribbons, etc. to add personality to your quilts or wall hangings.
A kit that includes thread, fabric, batting, embellishments, etc. will be available the day of class for $20, payable in cash or check to the instructor.
This is a two-session class, and you may need or want to work on the project between classes to finish the entire mini-quit.
Note, we will have multiples of the presser feet (except 2/2a) we are using available for you to borrow the day of class. At the end of the class, they will be available for purchase for a 25% discount.
The actual materials and fabrics may differ from the photo.
Bernina owners will take priority.

| Skill Details: | Beginner to intermediate knowledge of your sewing machine is necessary. Need to be able to stitch a straight line and know how to choose different stitches on your machine. |
| Materials Included: | Embellishments, all fabric and threads will be provided in the class materials kit. $20 due to instructor for the kit the first day of class. |
| Requirements: | Your sewing machine, power cord, foot control, accessories, and 4 empty bobbins • Basic sewing tools including scissors, pins and/or clips, and fabric marker • Rotary cutter, ruler (cutting mats are provided) • Mini Iron and Pressing Surface (not mandatory, as we have two ironing setups) • The following Bernina presser feet and attachments: Overlock Foot #2/2A Edgestitch Foot #10/10C/10D Button Sew-On Foot #18 (not mandatory) Open Embroidery Foot #20/20C Braiding Foot #21 Pintuck Foot #31 Clear Foot #34/34C/34D Patchwork Foot #37/37D, #57/57D, or #97 Embroidery Foot with Clear Sole #39/39C Circular Embroidery Attachment #83 (not mandatory, but fun!)
