Rose of Sharon Row Quilt
This quilt is made with a Jelly Roll and additional complimentary fabrics. The flowers and leaves are cut on the Accuquilt System. The stems and Jelly Roll pieces are Rotary cut. If you don't have a Jelly Roll you can cut your own 2 1/2" strips. Learn how to place your design on the background and stitch using either Zig Zag or Blanket Stitch. This is a two session class with homework in between classes.

| Requirements: | Sewing Machine with 1/4" Piecing Foot , Applique Foot, and All Purpose Foot. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:Two yards of Trans Web or similar product for applique. If you want your flower row background fabric UNPIECED 1 3/4 yds or PIECED background 1 1/8 yds. 1st Border 3/8 yd, 2nd Border 3/4 yd, 3rd Border 1 1/4 yd. Binding 1/2 yd. Fusible web 1 yd. BEFORE CLASS FUSE 20 - 6" SQUARES FOR THE FLOWERS, 8 - 4" SQUARES FOR THE LEAVES, AND 10 - 2" SQUARES FOR THE FLOWER CENTERS, 1/8 YD FOR STEMS. Thread to match your Applique pieces, Rotary Cutter, Ruler, Pins, Basic sewing supplies. |
